Abigail Levoir

I am a qualified teacher with over twenty years of classroom experience, mainly within KS 1. Therefore, I have worked with children with a variety of learning needs. I am passionate abut supporting them on their individual learning journeys whatever their starting points.
Through working as a classroom teacher, I have gained a wealth of experience in delivering high quality lessons in reading, phonics, writing, spelling and maths. Throughout my lessons, I use a variety of teaching methods, including practical work using concrete objects, written work and interactive games. I have also planned and delivered interventions, differentiating and scaffolding tasks to suit pupil’s level of need.
I firmly believe that working in partnership with children and their parents / carers is paramount and aim to provide tailored support to meet pupil’s specific needs, learning styles and interests. Trough offering fun, engaging and varied lessons I aim to help my students to gain confidence and secure knowledge which they can apply and build upon in their future learning.
