Emilie Oakley

I am currently studying my undergraduate law degree at Queen Mary University. Despite my law degree, in school I performed strongly in STEM related subjects, achieving the highest grades in GCSE and A level. I have three years of tutoring experience and I strongly believe in training students to fully understand the material to help them to gain a confidence in answering questions independently, rather than relying on others for the answers.
I frequently check in with students throughout lessons to ensure everything is understood and to highlight any weaknesses which must continually be addressed. I strive to make it a friendly environment so students aren’t afraid to ask as many questions as they need to achieve the best grades they can.
