Mia Blackmore

After being tutored myself in year 6, I passed my 11+ and went to a grammar school where I achieved 10 GCSEs, six of them being grade 9s in: English language, English literature, biology, religious studies, media studies, and history.

I am now in Sixth Form and predicted to achieve three A*s, specialising in humanities essay-based subjects.

Therefore I can support English learning at any level (SATS, 11+, or GCSE) in addition to psychology and sociology A-levels.

I have previously provided 1:1 support for students at a local primary school, helping students progress with their reading and writing skills as a teaching assistant during English lessons.
I also volunteer to help run a SEN playgroup, supporting the development and mental wellbeing of primary age children through encouraging participation, teamwork, and creativity.

I love giving my time to help others, and in the lead up to my GEs I helped raise a classmate's English literature grade from an 8 to a 9!
